Windmills. Tulips. Wooden clogs with pointed tips. Folk costume.... These are the symbols of Netherlands (or Holland) - an Europe country that I yet set foot on, though I've been to this part of the world for almost 1o times. The beautiful images of the country was the backdrop of the Hongkong drama (僵). Of course, I'm not there to seek exciting encounters withe the vampires, but the beautiful landscape that also comes with the architecture (both old and new).

The Weather

On the day I touched down, the weather forecast of the week was a bit worrying!

It looked like I would be getting lots of shades of grey for the entire trip.

As a result, some re-planning was required so that my mood and plan would not be dampened by the wet weather.

From Day 1, I experienced the windy weather! Now, I thought I knew why Netherlands was known as a land of windmills! It must be the regular strong winds blowing in the summary days!

On the other hand, I was actually blessed with pretty good weathers in the remaining week. Perhaps I should say I was glad that the weather forecast was not that accurate, after all :)

Fortunately, I brought with me clothing that can fit into cold and warm weather.
A pat on my shoulder :)
